Chris catches up with Dr. Charles Ballard, Economics Department, Michigan State University. He recently returned from France. Charlie shares his observations of how Europe, and France in particular, was reacting to the recent third bailout for Greece.
They review the deal, and other aspects from Germany and the European Union’s perspective. Then bringing it back state-side, Chris covers the recently released Michigan Future Business Index by the Accident Fund Insurance Company of America, where the number one concern remains getting and retaining talent. There is a positivity about future revenues and future profits. Dr. Ballard finishes by commenting on studies he has headed up, and what they are observing for Michigan’s economy.
