A Dolphin Tank competition was held recently in Grand Rapids. Jeffrey spoke with Julie Fox of Free Love Bakery. She shares her professional background and what lead to her current project. Julie speaks on her project and what they have accomplished in the last year. She talks about how she can’t eat gluten and created a gluten and allergens free bakery.
She currently has her products in 6 different stores in and around Kalamazoo, Michigan. Julie covers future business goals and how she’s been involved with startup food businesses in the state. Then in part two of this segment Jeffrey takes some time with Evelyn Ritter, UMP Analytics. Evelyn introduces her background and how she got involved with UMP. She was an engineering major at Hope College, Michigan. She received a minor in environmental science. Evelyn reviews the grassroots process behind the project and how it was funded through a grant. She speaks on her involvement with The Dolphin Tank. She talks about upcoming events and the current business module.
