Chris talks with Steve Purdy, broadcaster at MBN, owner of Shunpiker Productions, automotive journalist and Detroit editor for autochannel.com. They discuss the North American International Auto Show highlights. It was a great auto show, though there were fewer concept cars featured.
Buick did have the Avista Concept, which had the shape and size of a Camaro, was built on a Camaro platform, but looked nothing like the Camaro. It is sleek and beautiful and if it ever goes to production, it will be a huge hit! The American auto companies did shine at this show. Chrysler featured a new minivan, called the Pacifica, and another show hit was the Acura’s Concept car, which is meant to show what their future design image will look like.
