Detroit’s North American International Auto Show Highlight

Steve PurdyChris talks with Steve Purdy, broadcaster at MBN, owner of Shunpiker Productions, automotive journalist and Detroit editor for autochannel.com. They discuss the North American International Auto Show highlights. It was a great auto show, though there were fewer concept cars featured.

Buick did have the Avista Concept, which had the shape and size of a Camaro, was built on a Camaro platform, but looked nothing like the Camaro. It is sleek and beautiful and if it ever goes to production, it will be a huge hit! The American auto companies did shine at this show. Chrysler featured a new minivan, called the Pacifica, and another show hit was the Acura’s Concept car, which is meant to show what their future design image will look like.
