One of Dave’s favorite ideas related to leadership is “leaders need followers”. You may have an impressive title, or you might even be the owner of the company, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone will be on board with your latest initiative. Great leadership has to do with connecting with people, creating a trusting environment, and being successful in influencing.
Great leadership requires high levels of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and communication, along with a strong principles and values, and tremendous consistency (that’s all!). With a strong effort at personal development, anyone can significantly strengthen their leadership capability.
