It has helped keep more than $3.4 billion for Michigan. The AG’s cases have involved funding, public services, and the rights of people across the state.

AG Nessel Issues Video Statement on Proposed Sale of Planned ICE Warehouse in Romulus Following Lawsuit
Attorney General Dana Nessel’s lawsuit helped stop plans use a Romulus warehouse for ICE detentions. She released a video on the Trump administration abandoning its plans. ICE plans to sell the site. The case will stay open until there is a written agreement that the building will never become a detention center.
