While at the 2015 SBAM Matchmaking Summit at the Burton Manor in Livonia, MI, an event hosted by the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) and Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC), Jeffrey speaks with Dan Malone, Senior Vice President of Energy Resources at Consumers Energy, who discusses Consumers Energy’s role with the Summit, and the partnership between Consumers Energy, MEDC and SBAM. Dan notes the billion dollar investment that they have committed to, and its focus on doing business with Michigan-based companies. They also discuss energy efficient programs that are available.

Jeffrey then speaks with Robert Mihos, Energy Efficiency Programs Manager, who discusses Consumers Energy’s efficiency programs, including assisting small businesses to become more energy efficient. They also discuss renewable energy, and Consumers Energy’s involvement with solar energy.
