Competence in Business and Volunteerism in the Community

LeadershipThere is a significant move among the emerging generations that demands effectiveness both in the workplace, and impact in the community. This ‘Double Bottom-line’ is a powerful combination of competence in business and volunteerism in the community. Jamie Schriner-Hooper embodies this ideal completely. She leads the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan.

She also serves on numerous boards, volunteers as a Big Sister at Big Brothers Big Sisters, and plays a large role in urban renewal as a resident and property owner in Old Town in Lansing. Jamie lives a life of impact by combining hard work, great leadership, insightful intelligence and a passion for the ‘Double Bottom-line.’ She is my guest on the Leadership Lowdown.
