The Hagerty Insurance Company has become the largest private employer in Traverse City, Michigan, for good reason. They pioneered classic and collector car and boat insurance, and they seem to understand this specialty insurance market better than anyone else. They also do more than anyone else to promote the classic car hobby and business surrounding these wonderful vehicles. Tabetha Hammer, Hagerty’s Affinity Communications Manager, joins us for most of this program.

Tabetha comes from a family background of restoring many things vehicular, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Auto Restoration (you probably didn’t know there was such a thing), and she has driven regularly in the epic Great Race. She oversees Hagerty’s Youth Programs, a variety of educational programs, and she works with the Historic Vehicle Association, a Hagerty creation. She is articulate, deeply knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
