Beijing, China, continues to nurture its relationship with Michigan, as this past Friday Oakland County hosted a gathering featuring a Chinese delegation, for ‘Charming Beijing, Beijing Coupon’ and the announcement of the opening for an international art show. Featured speakers included Consulate General of China in Chicago, and Vice Chair of Beijing Commission of Tourism Development. Later at MEDC headquarters in Lansing they met with Dave Lorenz, Vice President Travel Michigan, Natalie Chmiko, International Trade Director, and John Bracey Executive Director for Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.”
