Jeffrey Mosher talks with Dennis Marvin, Community Engagement Manager, at Consumers Energy, while attending the Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA)’s Capitol Day. Capitol Day is a legislative conference, designed to provided updates on economic development initiatives and laws.
Dennis explains the importance of working with community partners on economic development, which is not just related to state and federal development, but also international development, because we live in a globally competitive work market. He touched on Consumers Energy’s preparation to close three coal facilities in April of this year.
