University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Wound Care Services receives national recognition
LANSING, MICH. – University of Michigan Health-Sparrow has earned national recognition for its work to provide quality, compassionate wound care to patients across Mid-Michigan.
UM Health-Sparrow Lansing Wound Care & Hyperbaric Services was honored with RestorixHealth’s Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Award. The recognition goes to wound care centers across the U.S. who demonstrate superior performance in overall patient satisfaction.
“We strive to provide exceptional care to every patient, every time, and are honored that our patients appreciate the leading-edge care we deliver close to home,” said wound care program director Emily Lilleberg, BSN, R.N.
University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Carson and Clinton Wound Care Services were also recognized with the Clinical Distinction Award for exceeding national clinical and safety benchmarks over a six-month period.
“We are proud of this award and the work we do each day to provide safe and innovative wound care to our patients,” said Brenda Winters, R.N., UM Health-Sparrow Carson and Clinton Wound Care clinical coordinator and lead nurse.
