Trevino At Treetops

On July 30, 2001, Lee Trevino aced hole #7 (Hang Time) on Threetops during the 3rd annual Par 3 Shootout. The made for TV event aired in prime time on ESPN and for the feat, Lee won a cool $1,090,000 with that one swing of the club; half of which he generously donated to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.

Twenty years later, Treetops is excited to celebrate the milestone with a once in a lifetime event. Treetops is thrilled to welcome Lee Trevino back to our hallowed grounds to celebrate the Shot Heard Round the World. “I have fond memories of that ace at Treetops and look forward to heading back to Gaylord to celebrate the 20th Anniversary,” said Mr. Trevino. The event will take place on Thursday, July 29th, 2021 and is Open to the First 80 golfers to sign up. The not-to-be missed event will be played on the legendary Threetops – which is consistently recognized as the #1 Par Three Course in North America by multiple publications.
