Webinar Series Begins This Fall, Register for a Session Today
LANSING, Mich. – Businesses are invited to attend a series of upcoming webinars designed to navigate federal and state regulations, tax systems and other requirements, according to the Michigan Department of Treasury (Treasury).
Beginning this fall, the Treasury Outreach team will be hosting a “Tax and Wage Webinar Series,” focusing on federal and state wage and hour regulations, Michigan licensing and safety requirements, unemployment insurance, withholding tax rules, paying business taxes online and asking business tax questions online. Each webinar is 90 minutes and free for the attendee.
“We often receive questions from businesses about navigating the complexities of state tax laws and other regulations,” said State Deputy Treasurer Kavita Kale, who oversees Treasury’s Revenue Services business areas. “These webinars are an excellent opportunity to learn federal and state requirements and ask questions. Business owners and managers can gain valuable knowledge and information by attending these free virtual events. Attend one, many or all the events. Each session covers a unique topic that meets employer needs.”
