Michigan’s Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) offices will be closed Jan. 16, 2023, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Unemployed workers can still certify for benefits on those days using the Michigan Web Account Manager (MiWAM). Certification by phone will not be available when state offices are closed.
