WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Gary Peters (D-MI), Chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, and Susan Collins (R-ME), a member of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, introduced bipartisan legislation that would strengthen requirements for foreign manufacturers of medical products that are distributed in the United States to register with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
