DEARBORN, Mich., (July 8, 2024) - Gas prices in Michigan are down 10 cents from a week ago. Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.57 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 12 cents more than this time last month and 8 cents more than this time last year.

DEARBORN, Mich., (July 1, 2024) — As AAA prepares to rescue nearly 800,000 drivers nationwide with car trouble during the week of Independence Day, it will also provide a free service to keep impaired drivers off the road. The Auto Club Group is activating its Tow to Go program in Michigan and other select states (see below), offering a safe ride for would-be impaired drivers and their vehicles.

Reminder: LEO | UIA's Online Resources Are Available on July 4 When State Offices Are Closed

Workers and employers will be able to access the many online resources provided by the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) over the Fourth of July holiday when state offices are closed. In-person and phone services will resume on Friday, July 5.

Workers will not be able to certify their job searches by telephone Thursday, July 4, but they can certify online using the Michigan Web Account Manager (MiWAM), which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Log in at Michigan.gov/UIA.
