DEARBORN, Mich., (October 21, 2024) - Gas prices in Michigan are down 1 cent from a week ago. Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.27 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 11 cents less than this time last month and 14 cents less than this time last year.

(Thursday, October 17, 2024) – Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Chairwoman of the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee, Thursday announced more than $2 million across 23 grants to support Michigan specialty crop growers who produce fruits, vegetables, Christmas trees, hops, flowers, and other nursery products. LANSING, Mich. – Michigan’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was steady over the month, remaining at 4.5 percent in September, according to data released today by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget. Employment edged down by 3,000 over the month, while unemployment increased by 3,000, resulting in a workforce that was unchanged in September.
