Drivers should expect intermittent delays
A Lansing Board of Water & Light contractor will be performing work adjacent to I-69 on power transmission lines to support the Ultium Battery Plant being constructed in Delta Township. Motorist traveling on I-69 on Wednesday, January 24 between Lansing Rd. and the I-96/I-69 interchange should be aware of intermittent traffic delays.

The Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL) proudly announces the launch of its new “Electrification Rebate Program,” aimed at promoting sustainable practices and encouraging customers to adopt cleaner, electric home and business equipment options. Part of BWL’s Hometown Energy Savers®, this new program incentivizes BWL electric customers to transition to electric technologies that provide more energy efficient and environmentally friendly choices.
As we closed out 2023, unions continued to win recognition elections at a rate of almost 75%. In 2023 this percentage is from 1,316 certification elections run nationally. This included an overall win rate in September, 2023 of 91%. This win rate was for recognition certification elections – also called RC elections.
