LANSING, Mich. — Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced that the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin road and bridge repair projects this week including highway and bridge rebuilding in Cheboygan County, highway improvements in Huron County, highway maintenance in Kent County, bridge repairs in Mackinac County, highway repairs in Oakland County, bridge repairs in Osceola County, highway rebuilding in Ottawa County, road repairs in Otsego County, bridge and highway repairs in Roscommon County, and highway repairs in Wayne county. Based on economic modeling, these investments are expected to support 5,736 jobs.
