LANSING, Mich. — Physicians Health Plan (PHP) recently announced it’s earned a Medicare quality rating of 4.5 Stars (out of 5) from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The rating means members enrolled in PHP Medicare Advantage plans — PHP Advantage, Sparrow Advantage, Covenant Advantage, and University of Michigan Health Advantage — have access to high-quality Medicare Advantage plans offered by a locally-owned, community-based health plan.
Companywide Charitable Giving Program Supports Diverse Organizations and Missions Across Cinnaire’s Footprint
Cinnaire Cares, our companywide staff-funded charitable giving program, was developed by our employees through the Staff Engagement Committee to support our mission-driven partners in the communities where we live, work, and serve. Our employees contribute twice monthly to a fund established to support staff-nominated charities.
Cinnaire announced yesterday the award of $3,225,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grants from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBank Chicago). The award will support five affordable housing developments with a total of 238 housing units.
The Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL) will begin demolition on four structures at the Eckert Power Station site this week. The Eckert stacks, known fondly in the community as Wynken, Blynken, and Nod, will not be impacted.
Demolition will include the water cooling towers, east and west coal handling structures, and the ash silo structure and is scheduled to continue through early 2023. See attached site map.
