Nonstop flights will be flown by Avelo Airlines from Lansing Airport to Cancun, Punta Cana and Montego Bay 

LANSING, Mich.— ALG Vacations (ALGV) announced they are returning their international service to the Capital Region International Airport (LAN) for the 2024 season. ALGV and its brands Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations, Travel Impressions, CheapCaribbean.com and BeachBound are now taking reservations for nonstop flights from LAN to three very popular destinations: Cancun, Mexico; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; and Montego Bay, Jamaica.

LANSING, Mich. – American Airlines was granted federal regulatory approval to continue daily nonstop service between Lansing’s Capital Region International Airport (LAN) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) in Washington, D.C., maintaining a vital and popular link between the state’s and nation’s capitals. This five-year extension will secure the LAN-DCA route through October 2028.

The Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL) and Impression 5 Science Center will hold the annual Adopt A River event this Saturday, May 13 from 8:30 am to 1 pm at Impression 5 Science Center, 200 Museum Drive in Lansing. Volunteers will help make the Lansing area even more beautiful by helping clean up the Grand and Red Cedar Rivers along the 10.2-mile Lansing River Trail.
