Tara and Sue shared some of the exciting festivals & events in Marquette throughout the year and the economic impact they make. The Downtown Showdown Ski and Snowboard Rail Jam activities, sponsors, volunteers, were also highlighted.

Lucas Holliday - Vocalist, and band member of  “Tell Yo Mama”, joined Taylor and Michael, just off of becoming a major viral sensation in 2016!  The talented Lucas Holliday is a Lansing, MI native and his fan base is increasing in large numbers. While on his job at the Dollar Tree store one of his long time friends captured him on video singing a Maxwell song. The video soon-after went viral, reaching over a million views. It then captured the attention of “Good Morning America” and host Robin Roberts. They interviewed Holliday and surprised him with the Grammy Award singer Maxwell and offered Holliday a guest appearance on stage to sing at the Palace in Auburn Hills! This sudden rise in attention opened doors for many shows, including the 5^th Annual Phil Denny and Friends Holliday Collective, and his new EP “Next Holliday”.

Cyrus Hutchings - Young, talented, and handsome, Lansing, Michigan’s own Rapper, Singer, Story-teller and Producer comes SBW for his first appearance to talk about his latest music EP “Should Just Enjoy Ourselves” & his first EP “Love Cyrus”.  Although released in 2015, the “Love Cyrus” EP continues to draw in listeners.

Show Biz Weekly welcomes country singer Andrew James to this weeks show. James has made a name for himself via social media and his posts have now garnered over 1 million views including the cover of Easton Corbin’s “ Are You With Me” on YouTube.  After spending years training to become a Navy Seal, he got hurt and his future to become a Seal came to an end but his country career took off.

Jason Carlen, the Lansing, MI based comedian returns to share updates on his CD “Whiskey and Silence”, and how well received the recording of the comedy album was.
