Born and raised in Michigan, the Shaver brothers (Travis and Thomas) arrived in New York last year with a mission. That mission was to start writing, recording, and performing music and their genius, and long time backgrounds in musicology delivered their new sound and the birth of “Boyfriend Genes” was launched.  The Shaver bothers talents have garnered fresh music lovers with delightful genetic harmonies delivered by the boys. It’s literally difficult to tell them apart when they sing, and when their voices blend together a cacophony of sound fills your ears.

Adam Reeves is a San Francisco based filmmaker, producer, actor, director and writer. Why not? The excitement in Reeves’ voice is a revelation of what is possible. He gives us a thought provoking question with a subject never before asked in his film “My Brother’s Shoes”, a twist of fate story about two brothers, one gay and one straight. The SF Bay Area resident has produced and directed television and cable commercials for the last 15 years. He decided to extend his talents by first producing short films such as the thriller “Edward”, and then testing his skills at screen writing on full feature films such as the family film “December Dilemma” and the comedy “My Brother’s Shoes.”

Armory Smooth Jazz Fete aims to celebrate the properties rich heritage of community related events and activities which has not been done at this level in several years.

Craig shares the story of a special Veterans Memorial in Detroit that is being saved from destruction and moved to Belle Isle for many to enjoy as a legacy to our Veterans.  This will be a memorial project to watch become a “special tribute” to many.
