The Michigan Festivals & Events (MFEA) celebrates their 25th anniversary at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa in Traverse City, MI November 2-5, 2017.
Lisa Enos- Grand Rapids filmmaker, director, actress, producer, and writer returns to Show Biz Weekly with a new film “State of Modern Love”, and starring Michigan actor Daniel Falicki. Enos’ scripted and directs this production that she began writing back in 2015, the film was personal and revealing yet a strengthening project of reality from it’s author.
Jake Ferree-Actor/Singer St. Louis, MO native Ferree, is a face on the rise with many acting credits already added to his name, he continues his work with a new short film that has landed at the Culver City Film Festival. Ferree holds a Acting/Directing BFA degree from Southeast Missouri State University where he begin his stage work around the US that eventually landed him in Hollywood. His work includes major studio projects, including television giant “How I Met Your Mother”. Ferree co-produced and stared in the short thriller “In Flames”, with horror icon Kika Magalhaes.
Internationally known musician Danny Kusz is welcomed back to Show Biz Weekly just in time to share is rendition of the classic song "Merry Christmas Baby". Kusz’ take is lively, heartfelt jazz filled with love from a inspiration by his wife, and it features a guitar solo riff by David Feily that will put you into the Holiday spirit immediately. Kusz’ sound is on par with legends in jazz saxophonist history, and you must check him out.
