Recently retired manager of the New York Mets spoke at the 2018 Sports Business Luncheon on October 30th at the University Club of MSU. As a MLB manager he won 481 games with the New York Mets (third most in team history) and managed more games than any other manager in team history. Terry is Midland, MI native and Eastern Michigan University graduate. He played all four seasons of baseball at EMU and was inducted into EMU's Hall of Fame in 1995.

LANSING, MICH. — The 22nd Annual Electric Light Parade, sponsored by IBEW #665 and NECA, will take place during the 34th Annual Silver Bells in the City on Friday, Nov. 16, in downtown Lansing. The parade steps off from the corner of Washington Square and Lenawee at 6 p.m. This year, the Grand Marshals are the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders and Roary, the beloved mascot of the Detroit Lions.

Southfield, MI, October 22, 2018 –Shopping for Halloween should be fun—not terrifying. With so many costume and decoration ideas, it’s hard to choose what to buy, and where to buy it from.
According to the National Retail Federation, Halloween spending for 2018 is expected to reach $9 billion, with consumers planning to spend an average of $86.79 each.
According to the survey conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics, among Halloween celebrants, 70 percent plan to pass out candy, 50 percent will decorate their home or yard, 48 percent will wear costumes, 30 percent will take their children trick-or-treating and 18 percent will dress their pets in costumes.
