Office of Global Michigan project strengthens infrastructure, builds capacity for ethnic and community-based organizations
LANSING, Mich. – Today, the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity’s (LEO) Office of Global Michigan awarded $738,000 to support 17 ethnic and community-based organizations in strengthening infrastructure and building capacity through the Capacity Building and Outreach Program.
Projects from across both peninsulas will receive support from the Strategic Site Readiness Program, prepare sites for investment.
More than half of the awards will go toward site preparation on existing brownfield sites.
