LANSING, Mich. -- Thursday Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced that nine communities around Michigan have been awarded a total of 200,000 in grants to support downtown enhancement and improvement projects. Communities receiving Main Street Vibrancy grants are Cheboygan, Wayland, Lapeer, Downtown Lansing Inc., Three Rivers, Saline, Mexicantown, Grosse Pointe, and North End.
