The Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL) and more than a dozen nonprofit organizations and community partners will host a Community Resource Fair tomorrow, Tuesday, March 21 from 2-7 pm at the Alfreda Schmidt Community Center, 5825 Wise Rd., Lansing. The fair is designed to help connect BWL residential customers and greater Lansing residents behind on their bills to information on resources and financial assistance per available funding and eligibility.

This week we are joined by a special guest, Dr. K. Venkatesh Prasad, the Senior Vice President of Research and Chief Innovation Officer at CAR.

Dr. Prasad discusses the rush of automakers investing in mines. Recent investments in the EV market include universities, USPS, and state governments that hope to build a growing workforce. The word on everyone’s lips is hydrogen, as the pressure to achieve zero-emission vehicles builds.

Altair Enlighten Award Open for Submission

(Lansing, MI) – The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) is pleased to announce the hiring of Amanda Matelonek as Multimedia Specialist. In her role, Matelonek will be responsible for managing and updating website content, creating graphics, and assisting with executing marketing and communication strategies. She began her position on February 20.
