Tech Week Grand Rapids 2024 Returns with 70+ Regional Events

Tech Week Grand Rapids takes place September 16-21, 2024 

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (9/17/24) – One of the largest community tech events in the Midwest kicked off Monday in the Greater Grand Rapids region, running from September 16^th – 21^st. Tech Week Grand Rapids (Tech Week GR) is a week-long celebration of technology and innovation, featuring over 70 independently hosted events. Over 100 businesses and community organizations are involved in Tech Week GR, with over 15,000 attendees expected to attend.

Tech Week GR 2024 will feature a diverse array of events and programming, including panel discussions, hands-on tech exhibits, networking opportunities, and more. Over 90 speakers will be presenting throughout the week, on topics ranging across industries: AI, Advanced Manufacturing, Design, Health Tech, Human Resources, Marketing, and more. 

Almost all Tech Week GR events are free for the public to register, and there are events designed for all ages and industries, not just tech professionals. The schedule is available at techweekgr.com. 

The Right Place is the proud organizer of Tech Week Grand Rapids, working in partnership with business and community leaders to make the event a leading destination for tech and innovation. The event is guided by an advisory board of over 35 community leaders, with Bank of America providing support as the Premier Sponsor. The Tech Week GR Advisory Board, led by Co-Chairs Dr. Philomena Mantella (GVSU), Jason Joseph (Corewell Health), and Mark Johnson (Michigan Software Labs), guides the content of the week, establishes annual goals, enhances user experience, and strengthens the region's tech ecosystem.  

Nearly 1,000 people attended Monday’s Tech Week GR 2024 kickoff event at GLC Live in downtown Grand Rapids. Today marks Day 2 and will feature dozens of (mostly free events). Link to the full schedule is below. Photos from yesterday’s event are attached (with more available upon request).
