The Lansing Promise Golf Classic is becoming a tradition among community partners, donors, and sponsors. It’s where community members come together to show our support for our students’ futures. The 2020 Golf Classic is particularly special, as it had to cancel previous fundraising events in light of the pandemic; and this event alone has raised enough money to support (on average) 100 more students this year! This year the LP Golf Classic took place at Forest Akers Golf Course located in East Lansing, MI.

The Lansing Promise is a scholarship program offering tuition assistance for post-secondary (college or skilled trade) education to all eligible high school graduates within the Lansing School District boundaries. The Promise provides tuition assistance for up to 65 credits at Lansing Community College or the equivalent dollar amount toward tuition and fees at Michigan State University or Olivet College. https://lansingpromise.org/
