LANSING, MI – The Sparrow Health System Board of Directors has added two outstanding new board members who are leaders in their fields at Michigan Medicine.
Dr. Hae Mi Choe has received numerous honors for her innovations in the field of Pharmacy and has been a pioneer in advancing the role of pharmacists in ambulatory care settings and within Patient Centered Medical Homes and Accountable Care Organizations, among others. She serves as the primary leader of these pharmacy services at U-M, which have become a model nationally.
Dr. Choe is Associate Chief Clinical Officer for Quality & Care Innovations and serves as Associate Dean and Clinical Professor at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy.
Kimberly Ross joined Michigan Medicine in 2017 as Chief Government Relations Officer. She was previously a lobbyist and policy advisor for Dykema Gossett, PLLC, representing a variety of clients before state agencies and the governor’s office in multiple policy areas, including healthcare and Medicare/Medicaid. She also served as Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs at Pfizer, focusing on Michigan and Wisconsin.
Ross has broad experience developing relationships that are key to building successful alliances, partnerships, and coalitions across the state.
The pair joined the Sparrow Health System Board as part of the partnership agreement recently approved by Sparrow and U-M Health. SHS board Chair John Pirich, and members Jeff Benson and Nancy McKeague are taking seats on the U-M Health Corporation Board overseeing the expanded system.
