LANSING, MI – Sparrow Health System embodies the spirit of innovation in healthcare. That’s why leaders and caregivers with Sparrow’s Clinical Research Institute are joining Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP), VentureWell, and 20 medical startup companies from across the country over in Lansing this past week (May 16-18) to discuss what it takes to adopt innovation into a clinical setting.
The three-day work session is the kickoff to a larger 12-week national cohort that’s designed to prepare startups for partnerships and investment, and launching their high-impact medical device, diagnostic, or software.
On Tuesday, Ted Glynn, M.D., Sparrow Health System’s Vice President of Medical Education and Research, along with several Sparrow experts were on hand to answer questions and provide valuable insights into the innovation at Sparrow to the startups. The goal is to empower startups to improve patient care and outcomes.
