Nominations Now Open

Does your business have a successful turnaround story?  Nominations are now open for the 5th Annual Rick Snyder Spirit of Entrepreneurship Award. This award is named in honor of Governor Rick Snyder and his work reinventing Michigan and creating an environment of success for entrepreneurial small businesses. In 2019, KTM Industries was honored with the inaugural award, UP Paper LLC was the 2020 recipient, followed by Bridge Street Exchange in 2021 and Brown Iron Brewhouse in 2022.

To be eligible to receive this award, a business must have fewer than 500 employees and be privately held and headquartered in Michigan.

The award-winning small business should have a turnaround story that allows it to achieve growth. This could be the reestablishment of the business or the creation of an entrepreneurial product or service.

The award will be presented during SBAM’s Leadership Council Summit on October 11-13, 2023 at Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Island.
