EAST LANSING/NOVI/GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Recruitment Management Consultants (RMC), a 2016 Michigan Celebrates Small Business Top 50 Company to Watch and 2015 & 2016 Inc. 5000 awardee, has promoted two (2) internal staff members to the role of Account Executive. Mitch Hoogland & Mark Vento will be joining RMC’s Business Development effective January 1st, 2017. These appointments are part of the company’s initiative to continue expansion into existing and new markets.
Mitch Hoogland will focus on the Grand Rapids and West Michigan markets, while Mark will continue to grow RMC’s presence in the Detroit Metro area.
Mitch Hoogland joined RMC as an IT Recruiter in the East Lansing office (HQ) in May 2015 after graduating from Central Michigan University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems. With his knack for establishing and fostering relationships along with his sense of urgency, he quickly saw success. Originally from Grandville, MI, Mitch’s goal since starting at RMC has been to return to the Grand Rapids area.
When asked what contributing factor led to his promotion, Mitch answered, “My motivation to work hard and pioneer RMC’s expansion into Grand Rapids.” Mitch’s personal expectation for his new role is to, “Provide quality IT professionals for companies in Grand Rapids to meet and exceed business initiatives for 2017.” When asked what this means for RMC, he said, “It shows that RMC is an exciting place to be. We are a growing company with proven success in Lansing and Detroit and looking forward to continuing our success into Grand Rapids.”
Mark Vento joined RMC’s Novi operations in July 2016 bringing a diverse professional background, having served over 20 years in sales and sales management roles in the wireless communications, enterprise software systems, and social media services industries. Mark served as an IT Recruiter to gain experience on the front lines with the goal of taking on the Account Executive role in 2017.
With Mark’s recent conversion, his personal goal is, “to continue developing new relationships and expanding existing relationships as a trusted business partner, providing the area’s top IT talent that they’ve come to expect from RMC.” Mark added, “I’d say my time as an IT Recruiter reminded me how important it is to be an active listener. With the transition to Account Executive, I think that ability will carry over in helping me to better understand how we can best serve our clients’ needs”.
The promotion of Mark and Mitch will be essential in continuing RMC’s grass root growth efforts and will provide the means for further expanding RMC’s IT staffing services into the Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids. By promoting from within, the company is creating more entry level opportunities which will be offered to Graduates from local Michigan Universities and Colleges.
