Join Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC) for a webinar on Doing Business with the State of Michigan, featuring procurement specialists from the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) office, and APEX Accelerators (formerly known as PTAC). 

This webinar was initiated in response to Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s recent executive directive to increase the number of contracts the State of Michigan holds with Geographically Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (GDBE). GDBEs include Michigan firms owned and operated in underutilized and underserved areas like small towns and inner cities.

Under this directive, state procurement will be more accessible to more Michigan businesses, creating more opportunities for minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses, and creating a more competitive bidding process helping to ensure the state receives the most cost-effective, high-quality bids for goods and services.
