The Leaning Edge welcomes Branden Clements who is the Senior Consultant at Pyramid Consulting in Ann Arbor. He talks about how using business process maps are helpful in navigating a companies destination. In this discussion with Debra Levantrosser of the Michigan Lean Consortium hear Branden discuss the three levels of a company’s destination, the major phases of the lifecycle and barriers to achieve them.
Branden is a Senior Consultant at Pyramid Consulting in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has worked at a variety of facility, architecture, and construction management organizations in the past. His consulting work focuses on assisting facility management organizations in capability development, including process development and organizational design.
The books “Harada Method” and “Toyota Production System” excited Branden about Lean’s many applications both in business and personal life. He graduated with a dual degree Master of Architecture and Master of Engineering in Construction Engineering from the University of Michigan, is a licensed architect in the State of Michigan, and also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Ball State University. In his free time, he is an avid reader and organizes architecture tours around Southeast Michigan.
