Reflection on the 2021 Election with NVCA
MVCA welcomes policy and legal experts from the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) in our first webinar of 2021 to discuss venture investing in the year ahead, including the impacts related to the Biden-Harris administration policy items, tax and carried interest, research and tech transfer, and capital markets. This one-hour virtual session will include a presentation and opportunity for Q & A, led by Jeff Farrah, General Counsel, and Justin Field, SVP of Government Affairs. The session is sponsored by MVCA Service Providers and is free to all MVCA Members and non-members.
The panel will include:
JEFF FARRAH, General Counsel / NVCA
Jeff Farrah serves as General Counsel at NVCA, where he advocates before Congress, the White House, and agencies for pro-entrepreneurship policies and leads in-house legal matters for the association, including management of the NVCA Model Legal Documents. He loves working at the intersection of venture, public policy, and the law. Jeff concurrently serves as Treasurer of VenturePAC, the political action committee of NVCA.
Justin serves as SVP of Government Affairs at NVCA. Justin joined NVCA in September 2014 and focuses on tax policy, capital formation, regulatory and energy issues. Justin is a member of the NVCA Tax Policy Council and acts as liaison to the Capital Markets Working Group, NVCA Growth Equity Group, Blockchain Technology Working Group and the Emerging Ecosystems Task Force.
