A product of the Lansing public school system, Denny’s career really took off in 2012 with his introduction into smooth jazz. The life-change has brought Denny’s music around the world.
The appreciation and connection to his music has brought Denny’s music to Africa, Puerto Rico and Vietnam so far. He has also been on the Jazz billboard charts for the last two years and he announces that his latest single “Digin On” has moved up two places to #26 out of 30 slots on the charts.
This winter brings together Denny’s 5th Annual Phil Denny and Friends Christmas Collective on December 3 at the Pattengill Auditorium in Lansing, MI. This year there is no shortage of talent as Denny welcomes show warmer up with flautist Brandon Marceal,, then the show kicks off with Denny, Jazz saxophonist Danny Kutz, vocalist, Selina Albright, guitarist David P. Stevens and more!
Phil Denny Denny shares that his love of music comes from when he discovered his talents while in grade school and it catapulted him to the successes he has enjoyed. His showcase also allows him to offer guest spots to kids who have expressed the same passion Denny did as a kid. In the past, one such performance moved him to tears.
