Host Sue Bila talks with Michigan Senator Mike Kowall about all the great things happening in the Novi area including the Michigan State Fair held August 30th - Sept 3rd.

Then for the second segment they take up the issue of cooperation happening with veteran groups across Michigan. He discusses a project move a World War I monument honoring American and Canadian soldiers getting a new home set to move from the old Michigan State Fairgrounds and being restored.

St. Senator Kowall also discusses his efforts to honor veterans of the Vietnam War era.
