Students United: Mobile Minds Flipping Society
June 23, 2015 3:00 PM

Motivation and InnovationStudents United -- Mobile Minds Flipping Society tries to focus on the students as much as possible. In this batch of three segments they catch up with the teachers and students involved with the Michigan Creativity Group.

There are student interviews pertaining to the Michigan Creative Educators Summit, which was held May 12, at the Lansing Center, in Lansing, MI. Student interviews are included about the end of the year Creative Leadership banquet at Eagle Eye Golf Course and the touring event, sponsored by LEAP. Student perspectives are offered on the LEAP tour, as well as comments regarding the Creative Leadership class, as students spent the day exploring Lansing business incubators. Additionally, the Students United team caught up with Holland Public Schools Superintendent, Brian Davis, back in March. Brian was a featured speaker and discussion panel participant at the May 12 Michigan Creative Educators Summit hosted by the Michigan Creativity Group.

Students United: Mobile Minds Flipping Society, hosted by Jeff Croley and Jason LaFay, intends to help merge the worlds of education and business by featuring innovative programs, projects, and people in K12 education throughout Michigan and beyond. The show aims to be the voice of K12 innovation. In order to better understand what is happening in schools it is important to provide a narrative of how education is evolving. To ensure a new generation of learner is adequately prepared, driven, and passionately ready for the workforce old divides must be bridged.
