Focus on an intense intro to marketing as a catalyst for attracting talent.
Below is more information released by EDGE about this internship process.
LANSING, MI — Edge understands the critical need to attract and retain talent in Michigan. To that end, the Lansing-based strategic marketing and communications agency recently welcomed Alexis Galloway, a North Carolina State University (NCSU) junior, for an intense, one-week professional immersion.
Under the guidance of Edge CEO Lorri Rishar, MBA, Galloway will experience various aspects of marketing and meet multiple clients across Michigan. Her experience includes interacting with a diverse group of nonprofit, corporate, government and association clients.
“In addition to Edge’s robust, semester-long internship programs, we understand the substantial impact shorter-term mentorships can have on experiential opportunities with the future workforce,” said Rishar. “It’s a win-win for our agency as we gain insights into attracting young professionals, and they engage in a dynamic introduction to the many facets of a modern marketing and communications agency.”
Galloway, a resident of Raleigh, NC, is pursuing a degree in business administration with a minor in Spanish and concentration in marketing. Her previous experience includes photography and creative video internships with the NCSU Athletics Department, marketing and outreach internship for the NCSU Varsity Men’s Tennis Team, president of the NC State Club Tennis, and social media manager for My Salon Suite – The Triangle.
