Bluewater’s work on the CFG Bank Arena, the multi-purpose arena in Baltimore, Maryland, aimed to create a captivating and immersive atmosphere while also fulfilling key functional needs, such as providing digital menu boards, delivering special messaging, and supporting live acts with in-house feeds and performances. 

The Integration Awards are an annual highlight for the Commercial Integrator team celebrating some of the most awe-inspiring, immersive, and experiential AV projects that integrators have created over the past year. The award celebrates how integrators have created unforgettable experiences in a variety of spaces from small offices and meeting rooms to more focused attractions like sporting venues and higher education campuses that align with a trend toward hybridization and collaboration. The versatility that the innovators lend contribute to the overall outcome. 

This recognition underscores Bluewater’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of AV innovation. The standout feature of the project was the content-driven lighting on the arena’s exterior. The cutting-edge system worked in perfect sync with the outdoor LED displays, creating a dynamic light show that responded to event-specific content. The Color Kinetic lights added vibrant hues, transforming the arena into a stunning visual spectacle. 

Nick Marino, Vice President of Sales -AV Integration at Bluewater shares what is means to win the award, “Our project faced several significant challenges, from logistical issues due to manufacture lead times to a tight deadline intensified by the addition of a basketball tournament to the schedule. Despite these hurdles, our team not only met every challenge head-on but also exceeded expectations. The result is an outstanding product delivered within a state-of-the-art facility. I am incredibly proud of our team’s dedication and achievement.”
