Michigan Business Network
July 16, 2020 5:00 PM

20_MEDC_WebinarWebinar takes place on Thursday, July 30th, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. for a Zoom Webinar.

MEDC Business and Community Development Update
With a rapidly changing economic climate in 2020 because of the pandemic, many are wondering about the status of State and Federal assistance for business and community development growth tools. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has been steadfast about stepping in to help, but how long will they be able to provide the support that Michigan’s businesses need to weather the storm? While none of us can predict the future, we can hear insights and projections that will help form plans. Get an update on the MEDC budget, hear implications to the business and community development programs, and learn about the status of funds from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES Act), Economic Development Administration Act (EDA) and Community Development Block Grants (CDBG).

Amanda Bright McClanahan, Chief Operating Officer, MEDC
Christine Roeder, EDFP, Senior Vice President of Growth and Development, MEDC
Eric Shreffler, Vice President, Market Development, MEDC
