Coastal Automotive

Clarence Martin was one of Coastal Automotive’s three founders in January of 2008.  A Massachusetts native, he earned his Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Massachusetts.  Martin has over 17 years’ experience in the international automotive and manufacturing industry, serving as a Director of Purchasing, Quality Engineer, Field Engineer, and his current role as President of Coastal Automotive.

 Martin is a visionary in the automotive manufacturing industry, who always encourages Coastal Automotive to try the next new thing.  Under Martin’s leadership, they have grown year after year and developed two revolutionary products: Impaxx & Betafoam-AFI.  Coastal Automotive has become an innovator in automotive safety and sound mitigation, whose success is built on the dedication of team members, forward looking leadership, and revolutionary thinking.

 Martin’s dedication to improvement and development is mirrored in his time away from the office.  Martin works for our community as a mentor for students through Winning Futures.  He mentors students in goal development and self-esteem, empowering them to reach personal success.
