Leading an Effective Board

Association Impact
March 9, 2015 12:50 PM

associationsWorking with a board requires a set of unique perspectives. The board is one of the greatest assets for an association executive. In this podcast, Cheryl Ronk, CAE and Sue Radwan, MEd., ARM, CAE, SM, owner of Leading Edge Mentoring engage in a timely conversation.

Here, you will hear Sue and Cheryl discuss how the chief staff executive can maximize the board, why they are important, their roles, staff and executives. Cheryl and Sue also cover what is committee work versus board work, what the role of the executive is with the Board and rules of thumb regarding the board are discussed. This is a great orientation for board thoughts.

Donna Oser, CAE hosts Association Impact, which looks into what some of Michigan’s top professional and industry groups are doing to make a positive impact for their members and for the state of Michigan. As part of MSAE, Association Impact works with all associations in Michigan.
