A native of Lansing, Chicago resident Luanne Wills-Merrell, currently is a Manager (ASI to the Aviation world!) in the Federal Aviation Administration. She has accumulated a multitude of achievements over her remarkable career. Most recently, Wills-Merrell was inducted into the Illinois Aviation Hall of Fame as the first Black female ASI in American history. She said she spent every day just doing her best and cannot believe where the journey has taken her. In addition, She was named by the Theta Rho Beta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority’s “Woman of the Year”,
