MSAEDuring this informative broadcast, Bonnifer Ballard, executive director of the American Water Works Association, Michigan section, and Tim Neumann, Executive Director, Michigan Rural Water Association, review the situation in Flint, the variables that contributed to the situation and solutions.

They discuss standards, policy, and the new Michigan Warren project, where utilities are helping utilities, and the lessons learned about how an association can respond to crisis management and communications. The knowledge shared will be important, in that “lead poisoning is not just one city’s catastrophe. It is America’s.

Donna Oser, CAE hosts Association Impact, which looks into what some of Michigan’s top professional and industry groups are doing to make a positive impact for their members and for the state of Michigan. As part of MSAE, Association Impact works with all associations in Michigan.
