GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., October 2024 – Aurora International Foods, creator of high-quality, all-natural products at the intersection of Latin American flavors, culture, and convenience, today announced its Reyna’s Michelada Mix will be on shelves at 46 Meijer stores across Metro Detroit. The original flavor of Reyna’s Michelada Mix will be available at these new locations beginning this month. 

Through the new “Local Favorites” program, Meijer brings small, local businesses to the forefront, or in this case, the aisle endcap! Reyna’s Michelada Mix, the creation of Reyna Oréllana Masko, an immigrant from El Salvador, was selected to join several other culturally significant local businesses in this initiative. 

“My mother, Aurora, and my work within the Hispanic communities have taught me the power that food has to bring people together,” said Reyna Oréllana Masko, owner and CEO of Aurora International Foods. “This opportunity allows me to reach an expanded audience from our base in Grand Haven, and draw people into the enchantment of Latin American flavors. It’s an honor to be on the shelves alongside other Michigan-based food businesses this holiday season.” 

The original flavor of Reyna’s Michelada Mix will be available at 46 Meijer stores in Southeast Michigan beginning this month. 

Partnering with local and national suppliers, both large and small, allows the retailer to have a broad product offering that meets customers’ needs.
