Tim oversees Mackinac Island Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau, together now branded as Mackinac Island Tourism.

For centuries, visitors have enjoyed this national treasure that’s home to historic Fort Mackinac, world-famous Mackinac Island fudge, and car-free streets full of horse-drawn carriages. This ideal vacation spot is a paradise of exploration with incredible natural landmarks, awe-inspiring sunrises, and unforgettable sunsets. There’s unique shopping, diverse dining, and extraordinary nightlife, too. No wonder Travel + Leisure ranked Mackinac Island the Best Island in the Continental U.S. Start planning your Mackinac Island adventure and come experience the Jewel of the Great Lakes yourself!

As warmer temperatures usher in the change to spring and summer, Pure Michigan is inviting people to “Keep It Fresh” with its new campaign designed to welcome and inspire visitors through fresh travel perspectives and new voices. This includes the addition of Detroit poet Jessica Care Moore who will be adding her fresh voice to the TV campaign.

The campaign will include three new television commercials - “Fresh Voices”, “Fresh Air”, and “Fresh Path” – set to a new sound with the introduction of an original track by Michigan-based, Assemble Sound.

Media Business, hosted by Tony Conley. As a media veteran with more than 25 years of working experience working in television, radio, print, and social media platforms, Tony and his guests will explore the business of the media. Does the media care about journalistic integrity, proper reporting, making profits, telling all sides of every story? Is the media now an opinion based entity focused on its own agenda and do they favor sides? How does the media influence business and how does business influence the media? What are the solutions to the frenzy of Media Madness? Media Business will present all sides of these stories and let you decide.
