Tony Conley is a newer content contributor and show host for Michigan Business Network. To kick off his fifty-first episode, Tony has a three-segment conversation about the reasons behind the recent fluctuation of gas prices at the pump, They've gone down they're going up, WHY?
He welcomes back Patrick De Haan, who started with GasBuddy in 2009.

What are the current petroleum prices in Michigan?
What were the specifics of the gas shortage in Florida?
What is the status of the relationship between American petroleum companies and the Biden administration in regard to producing more petroleum projects in America?
Patrick shares with Tony what perceptions are right, or wrong, and where things are going.
Patrick has analyzed and tracked oil markets and fuel prices for nearly two decades. A graduate of DePaul University, Patrick has a degree in Business Economics and has concentrated on downstream oil markets, including crude oil, gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel since 2005, when Patrick and a professor at Grand Valley State University launched a blog in that shared oil market insights and predicted gas price movements.
With a solid foundation, Patrick went to work with GasBuddy, a fuel-price tracking service, providing expertise for millions of users. Since then, he has provided regular commentary to U.S. News and World Report and is often quoted during gas price gyrations and fuel disruptions by almost all U.S. and international media outlets.
